Introduction
Encountering difficulties in downloading your results from the platform? The root cause may be simpler than you think: providing an extensive number of inputs in a single job, leading to an overwhelming output, potentially exceeding 10,000 results at once.
Let's delve into this issue and explore effective solutions to ensure a seamless downloading experience.
Workaround
To download these results, simply follow these instructions.
If multiple steps with many jobs results inside:
- Go to your JOB.
- Click on the last step.
-
Actions > Download results for each job inside:
The ideal approach, here, would have been to divide the input into multiple jobs. In this scenario, if you obtained +10k results for 200 inputs, you should have split it into 5 parts, processing 40 inputs per job to reach a maximum of around 2000 results.
If only one step with a single job with many results inside:
- Go to your JOB.
- Click on the unique step.
-
Open the job inside this step:
- And by clicking one by one, the icon of the outputs results here:
- You will be able to export the results:
Observation
You'll observe that even downloading just the results of this input of 2174 items will take some time, as it's already quite substantial (+20 MB).
Uploading it to Google Sheets will also consume time. So imagine with one single CSV file with more than 20K results.
Please note that you will need to aggregate the data into a single spreadsheet on your own.
Best Practice
We strongly emphasize the importance of splitting your inputs; avoid launching them all in a single job.
For searches as inputs, for example, limit it to a maximum of 2 to 3 searches (inputs) per job, depending on your max leads results parameters.
For example, if you use the Extract LinkedIn Post Likers feature and input 100 entries in a single job with a maximum of 2,000 results each, you could end up with 200,000 results! That’s far too much to download at once. You must in this case provide 1, 2 or 3 inputs max if you want 2000 results for each input.
It really depends on the inputs + parameters (max results) you set.
