Introduction
Automation isn't always precise. Before you start automating, make sure your account is regularly active on the platform. For new accounts, take it easy at first, doing fewer actions. Also, when automating, be careful not to rush. Avoid launching many jobs in a short time. Space them out based on the inputs and outputs you're handling. *Especially with Search automations, there's no strict limit, but spacing them out is essential to prevent Rate Limits.
And, no need to worry! For most automations with commercial limits, we've got you covered with our Smart Limits: how to avoid getting banned on social accounts. (Forget about the PhantomBuster mindset; we take care of everything for you. Your role is simply to scale.)

⚠️ If you have any restriction from LinkedIn: Make sure the “country” selected on your user (here > Edit User > Country) match the location where you are when you log into your social media account to avoid any restrictions.
Exercise caution when using a VPN. Either choose the exact same country where your VPN provides IPs to ensure a match, or log out from your VPN when logging into your Social Media Account.
Commercial Limitations
You will find below some usage limitations that you need to respect.

Maximum number of searches results (pages) per day on Sales Navigator
👑 - It depends on your account.
If you see your job stuck with an error like:
"Error while making API call: Max retries of 10 reached for this call with reason null,"
this likely means you've hit a rate limit on searches—either for Leads or Accounts - check by doing a search Leads or Account manually.
Here's what you can do:
- Check your recent activity to estimate how many searches you've made before hitting this limit. This can help you optimize your workflow based on your account's capacity.
- Plan your searches carefully. Avoid doing too many in a short time to reduce the risk of hitting these limits.
💡 Best Practice:
If you’re looking to scale and handle higher volumes, the simplest solution is to use multiple accounts. More accounts allow you to manage larger volumes while staying within LinkedIn's limits.
Maximum number of Searches Sales Navigator Employees per day
👑 Approximately 100 companies to search for employees within, more or less. There's no exact limit, but if you see a 'max limit reached' error, it's likely because you've hit your daily search quota. In that case, just wait 24 hours before trying again.
Tip: Always try to space out your jobs as much as possible to avoid hitting limits.

- LinkedIn accounts, especially classic accounts, typically have a limit of about 100 connection requests per week. This limit can vary depending on the account’s activity and history. If LinkedIn blocks additional connection requests, it’s likely that the account has reached this weekly limit. (Test manually to verify)
👑 30
- For Sales Navigator accounts, there is no fixed limit on connection requests, but to ensure safe usage and avoid any issues, we recommend a routine of 30 invitations per day. This helps maintain a secure activity level and stays within LinkedIn’s guidelines.
