Introduction
Using someone else's account can be super useful if you are an agency or if someone external from your company has a specific account that you don't have. It avoids asking for sensitive information like password or API keys.
Note: The external user must have the Captain Data extension installed.
Our sharing link feature allows you to synchronize an external account just with the click of a link and use it in any of your workflows:
How to refresh an External user Account (Shared)
To refresh an Account integrated with the "Shared Link":
- Go to the Social Media Integration Page - e.g:LinkedIn Integration Page
- Find the Account that needs to be refreshed. (Labeled: Shared)
- Click on Actions > Share link to configure account
- Provide the Shared Link to the owner of the account.
The person will simply need to be connected to the social platform & click on the link you have provided to configure automatically the account.
